I’m a pretty uncoordinated and klutzy person, so I’ve always used an OtterBox case to protect my phone. I drop my phone at least three times a day, but never once have I cracked a screen! I loved my OtterBox case, but because I had it on my phone for so long, it started to loosen up. I was also getting kind of tired of how bulky the case was. It never quite fit in my pocket right, and it was always difficult to hold my phone if I had other things in my hands.
Last week, Spigen Cases sent me the Ultra Hybrid Case for iPhone 5S. I have a white iPhone, so I got the Crystal Clear case, but it also comes in Black and Metal Slate. I was skeptical about this case at first because there is no screen protector that comes with the case. When I took it out of the box, it seemed like just another cheap rubber case that wasn’t going to protect my phone. Despite all of my doubts, I switched out my OtterBox for the Spigen case.

It’s my favorite time of the month!! My BirchBox is here! This month’s box was full of amazing goodies.
The first thing in my box was the (MALIN + GOETZ) grapefruit face cleanser. This cleanser is amazing! I love using it because my face always feels rejuvenated afterwards. It definitely helps clear up any breakouts I have.

My name is Alex Ussery! I am ending my freshman year at the University of Alabama, and I am an Alpha Gamma Delta. I am starting this blog because my friends and I love to talk about fashion and makeup and all sorts of other girly things. I am looking forward to reviewing the products that companies send me and talking about my life as a college student. First off, I would like to start with letting y’all get to know me. I was born in Chesapeake, Virginia. I lived in Puerto Rico for two years, and I loved my time there! My family currently lives in Alpharetta, Georgia. I have three younger brothers, two of which are twins. I adore all three of them, but they have made it their purpose in life to drive me crazy. My parents are two of the most awesome people I have ever met, and I love them with all of my heart. They have supported me through everything – even my unexpected decision to attend the University of Alabama instead of their beloved University of Georgia. We are obsessive travelers and intend to always keep our family moving and everyone around us on their toes. My life at Alabama is pretty similar to most people who go to college. I love to go out with my friends and my sorority sisters, and we are always laughing and doing spontaneous things. Living three hours away from home is as hard as it seems, but it is an inevitable part of life and is making me a more independent person. I love my life in Alabama, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. I cannot wait to get my blogging career started and start connecting with y’all!
